Pravilo Safety Rules
Last updated: September 2026
Stretching on the Pravilo trainer is safe and gentle when these rules are followed. Please read them carefully before your first session — every client confirms having read them when booking.
Always tell the instructor about injuries or health problems, and stop immediately if you feel anything unusual. Your safety comes first.
- 1 Tell the instructor about any injuries or health problems.
- 2 Warm up before the session.
- 3 Avoid pain and risky movements, especially those that could overstrain injured areas. Stretch in a way that feels good to you.
- 4 You choose the intensity: at first the instructor will lift you only partially, then as far as you wish.
- 5 Start slowly and carefully, avoid sudden movements. Pravilo can help with some injuries, but it is not suitable for serious ones. If you are not sure whether you can use Pravilo, consult your doctor.
- 6 If you feel anything unusual or painful, change your position (turn) immediately and tell the instructor.
- 7 Keep your fists clenched. If you open your fist, you may fall! If you feel your fingers loosening or a foot slipping, tell the instructor immediately. Do not risk a fall.
- 8 Do not fight the Pravilo. Accept it. Allow yourself to open up.
- 9 Expand actively. Strengthen the stretching effect by consciously opening your body, your mind and your peripheral vision. Picture yourself as the sun, shining in all directions.
- 10 Feel your breath flowing freely. Move in rhythm with your breathing. Do not hold it and do not force it.
- 11 Relax as much as you can. Keep an eye on your tension.
- 12 Be playful. Smile :)
- 13 Listen to your body — keep both physical and mental flexibility.
- 14 Your first stretching on Pravilo reveals weak and shortened areas. Listen to your body.
- 15 Do not use Pravilo under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We recommend not consuming alcohol or other substances for the rest of that day. It is best to train on an empty stomach.
- 16 After the session, give yourself time and let the sensations settle.
- 17 Relaxation can trigger an emotional reaction (crying, laughing, trembling, an energetic release). Let the emotions flow freely; do not try to suppress or control them.
- 18 Take off your jewellery and watch. Bring clean socks.
- 19 Pravilo is one of the traditional methods and training systems of the Cossacks. The goal is to learn to consciously open up and stretch, and to close and contract.
- 20 Read the contraindications.
